It's time for another TI explorer lisp machine brochure, courtesy of Rainer Joswig:
This is the second part in our series about the Texas Instruments Explorer Lisp Machines. This brochure describes the Explorer Computer family and covers the 'Explorer', the 'Explorer II' and the 'Explorer LX'. The latter is a Lisp Machine with an additional Motorola 68020 on a NuBus board running System V Unix. So the Lisp system is the host for a Unix system. Those were the days.
Again, these TI Explorer Lisp machines are hard to find. It seems that a swiss airline bought most of the remaining working systems, because they use them as part of a larger airline reservation system. Still today.

If I'm correct Rainer is refering to Atraxis, which is part of SwissAir. Here's a CV of a guy who worked on updating their Explorer systems and constructing a replacement, last year. http://homepage.iprolink.ch/~bioneel/beo/CV.html
According to this, http://www.gst.ch/bes_06.htm, they're having trouble with the performance of the machines and finding spare parts (although I unfortunately do not read German, and the google translation was particularly bad, so my interpretation may be wrong.)
Hopefully they won't throw the machines out when they are ready to replace them =].
