Hmm...I agree with "meloveitlikethat." Here's the truth. Beyonce is extremely popular at this time, but I doubt that her fame will be enduring. There are some people who like her music/looks/image very much & that's okay. There are also people who either don't care, or plain out can't stand her. That's okay for them, too.

Me, I don't care much. She has only done two songs that I really enjoy, so I'm not a fan of hers. I think she's attractive, but she's not what some people would call pretty or beautiful. I know a few people who think she's downright ugly & they can talk, because some of them are extremely pretty girls that she couldn't hold a candle to. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder & we should not judge others based on looks, money, etc. Of course, I've never been a "hater." My life isn't perfect (whose is?), but I still feel lucky to be me. I feel good about myself, I'm pretty with a nice body, I have a good personality, so I'm blessed in that way. The truth is this: no one is perfect. We all become the subject of unkind words/criticism at some point in our lives.

Well, the posts started out nice and sweet, but there's absolutely no reason why killfatassbeyonce had to cuss like that. If you don't like Beyonce, at least say it in a civilized matter so that people will actually take time to think about what you're saying instead of dismissing it as childish nonsense. As for Beyonce herself, I'm definitely not one of her fans. I'm not jealous of her, either; as many have said, she is extremely popular today, but in the years ahead I doubt that anyone will be remembering her as one of the more significant singers of our generation. I don't think there -are- any significant members of our generation, in fact. In the sixties, seventies, and eighties, there were memorable bands and artists that will be remembered throughout the passing of time (The Beatles, Queen, and Elvis comes to mind), and of course all the years before that, but now the corrupted music industry seems to be all about money and physical appearance. I know it's a little off topic, but the reason I don't like Beyonce is because of that fact that she's given in to the music/fashion "conspiracy" that they've come up with.

I know that a lot of you are probably fuming right now, but go to google (Images) and type in Beyonce Knowles. Although a lot of adults are interested in her music (or in her), I'm pretty sure that the majority of her fans is aged around ten to twenty. What sort of message is she and the rest of the lot sending out to teens, preteens and children? And this is coming from a fifteen year old, who, might I add, has completely given up on the overplayed "tomorrows hits, today" radio stations and is now listening to twenty and thirty year old music.

When I take the chance of listening to the radio (pathetic as this sounds: on the bus on my way to school; the driver has it set to 94.7 Hits FM) and I hear Beyonce, I can never tell if it's her or one of the other "R&B Divas" like Christina Milian or someone else. Her music has a good beat, but the music these days are the same. I'm not saying it's her fault and I'm not blaming her for this. With the music industry now, you have to either go along or set out on your own. I'm only saying that I'm disappointed with Beyonce for choosing the former.

I sort of went off on a tangent up there, so I guess I'll just wrap it up. I don't like Beyonce, not because I'm jealous of her wealth or beauty (I'm not a materialistic person) or because of her success (which will eventually diminish like most bands and artists of this generation), but because of the image that she's setting for children and teenagers. Kids don't take the time to watch Access Hollywood or The Insider, so they don't know what a nice person she is. All they see is how pretty she is, and, more importantly, what she's wearing. That, and she's become part of the mainstream, with music no different than anyone elses. If she took a different route, I'd have a lot more respect for her, but I don't go around putting her down for the heck of it. It's more the music industry than her anyway. She was weak enough to fall victim to it, and that is why I dislike her.

If you are really as talented as you are said to be then there is no reason why you have to wear little things that don't cover your body.
