John Thingstad recapitulates the classic (and dear) David Ahl book BASIC Computer Games in Lisp [via Markus Fix]. He even has a Super Star Trek that looks true to the original.

That was kind of weird. Within about 24 hours of posting this, a link to the scans of David Ahl's book went from Danny O'Brien's Oblomovka[1] to BoingBoing[2] (where it was, for some reason, referred to as a collection of "open source" games), and from there it was picked up by Metafilter[3].
