Worlds Colliding

Yesterday I confused my OS X system badly enough that when I tried to quit the Terminal application using Command-Q, I broke into Macsbug. Which reported that the current application was... Terminal.

I thought Classic was its own rather separate world, but apparently there are more points of contact than seem, well, healthy.

I really should have gotten a screenshot of that.

Classic creates a proxy application for every Mac OS X native application. This proxy app is used so that Classic apps can "see" and send events to Native apps using AppleEvents, or otherwise make them visible in the process manager. Not sure why it would have crashed, though...
