Sepultura

I saw Sepultura (and Voivod for one song) at Disneyland last night with my friend Mark, which was a little weird. Now I know that when a band is listed as playing at the House of Blues in Anaheim it really means you will be inside Downtown Disneyland and 50 feet from the Disneyland monorail.

I thought Voivod split!??

Did this line up include the original members, or was it a cobbled together tribute to Canadian cannibals of the past let us get rich tour?

What a fuckin rock god you are now out there in LA.

Anyway, was it any good? Or should I be edified jsut by knowing you saw the show.

I guess the original singer of Voivod is back, or something. I don't really know this stuff, I just have an outsider's interest in metal and knowledgeable friends.

I wish I were a fuckin rock god. Robotics isn't all glamour and girls, you know.

It's not the original line-up - all members except blacky (bass) have returned, and Jason Newstead (Ex-Metallica) has taken over playing bass and they have a new cd out.

that night, though, Jason had food poisoning and could not play. Hence voivod for one song. sadness...but its great that they are back.
