SLIME

Luke Gorrie is working on SLIME, “The Superior Lisp Interaction Mode, Extended, for CMUCL. An Emacs mode for interacting with CMU Common Lisp, in the spirit of Ilisp, but based on a separate communication channel more akin to Hemlock.”

Actually, the screenshot above is not of SLIME! It's of Antonio Menezes Leitao's Emacs debugger front-end for CMUCL :-). The image that it links to is SLIME, however.

I must also give the disclaimer that it ain't yet a finished product, but anyone with a recent (post-18e) snapshot of CMUCL and a taste for adventure is welcome to check it out :-)

And for my final disclaimer, note that Eric Marsden is the original/main author!
