LispNYC Needs Mentors

del mar station in pasadena

LispNYC needs mentors for this year's Google Summer of Code projects.

Looking at the list of suggested projects, I see that “port the Apache Lucene library to lisp” is one. Is it too late to get my $4,500 and a t-shirt?

Dude, you should definitely put your two cents in. If nothing else, if you're willing to contribute what you've done, it gives you/them a huge starting point.

I know we'd welcome a LISP port of Lucene over at lucene.apache.org! And if you hurry, you can make it into Lucene in Action, too.
